We commonly know Kasada is the most popular ceremony in Tengger. If Kasada is the 10th ceremony,The first ceremony called “UNAN-UNAN”. Held at Ngadas Village, this is the earlier ceremony to clean the village from the evil and create the “new month” in villagers live. The symbols of the sacrifice is a big buffalo complete with the meal’s accesories. Leaded by Ngatrulin, this ceremony really absorb all villagers to celebrate it, no matter what is their religions, because Unan-Unan is not only for one religion but one village.
